Global International Development Internship
The main aim of the Global International Development project is to identify Micro-level International Groups (MIG’s) in impoverished areas and villages which lack access to electricity, and link them with a local NGO that can work with Orora to launch in a new geographical region to eradicate energy poverty in a developing country (India, Mexico or Africa).
Interns have the opportunity to get involved in some of the following areas:
• Renewable Energy Demand Mapping
• Creative Customization of Orora’s Solution in a Box
• Conducting and attending workshops
• Business development Strategy Launch in a new region with international travel for 3 weeks
This is a professional placement, and interns are expected to be punctual, professional, and hard-working. You will be required to work an average of 150 hours over the period of the internship. The internship will start on the Feb 1, 2017. When you arrive at work on your first day, you will be introduced to the schedule and staff who will be able to advise and support you during your internship. The internship is best done in groups.
