We are a social enterprise that builds truly sustainable communities using affordable renewable energy as a vehicle for innovation. Our programs are co-designed with the communities they serve to bring more opportunities to women and youth. Orora Global was founded in 2017 and continues to grow, supporting women and youth in India and other developing countries.
About Our Founder, Savitha Sridharan
Savitha Sridharan brings 12 years of industry experience in technology development and 7 years of clean energy industry experience to Orora Global, with the goal of creating a sustainable business that can support women, youth, and rural communities. She holds a Bachelors in Technology, a Masters in Computer Engineering, and an MBA, which she uses to improve Orora products and our community impact. In addition to her work at Orora, Savitha is a strategic sustainability consultant and an ultra marathon runner.
